I'm a believer in the paranormal and I have a big interest in evps, so that really helps make me want to give this thing a try to see if it would really work and/or give me any more success than using a general digital voice recorder. | Would you name your baby after a shop? | | Well, a woman who went into labor in a store called "John Lewis" in the UK decided to name her child after the store. Of course, this wouldn't work as well if you went into labor in some of the stores we have around here, like Wal-Mart and Target*laugh*^_~ But would you ever consider naming your child after the place where you went into labor? | | I was never much of a shopper but now I can barely shop at all! | | I'm doing most of my Christmas shopping online this year but not by choice. I love Christmas shopping, seeing all the people laughing and enjoying themselves and looking at stuff that I think someone might like. However, I just can't physically do it anymore. Even a trip around the grocery store leaves me in pain for hours from my arthritis and my bad back. I went to Radio Shack yesterday to get my son a gift and had to walk through the Sears to get there. By the time I got back to my car I was exhausted from dealing with the pain in my hip and my back. Do you love Christmas shopping, or shopping in general? Or do you prefer the internet? | |

| My Daughter Doesn't Want To Go To School | | It all started a few months ago. One Friday, she threw up and I had to go get her. They said she had been fine and then all of a sudden she was sick.The next Friday I got a call at work, she was in tears and complaining of pain in her stomach. I went and picked her up, took her to the doctor. They couldn't find a reason.After that she just didn't want to go. Always said she didn't feel good at school.She cries every school day. I have asked if she's bring bullied, if someone is teasing her. If there is something she's scared of. I even went so far as to ask her if anyone is telling her to keep secrets and gave her the speech about how people who hurt little children go to ail and nothing bad happens to the person who tells, or their mommy and daddy.Today my husband brought her by my work and yelled at me and made me brush her hair and talk her into going to school. Her only alternative is to hang out at home with her Dad, and I can't see her preferring that over playing at kidnergarten without a really good reason.I am at a loss as to what to do. Do you have any suggestions for me? She is only five, does well at school and loved it up until a few months... | |
